Background

The Campus Course reporting Power BI is designed to replace the functionality of reports from HCL Notes - as of June 2025, the data that can be reported on is what is currently available in HCL Notes, it does not cover new data fields that will be released in Campus V3.

The data in this report is refreshed overnight, real time will update after 24 hours in the report.

Access

  1. Users must have a Power BI Pro licence to access this report
  2. Access to these Power BI should be limited to users where it a requirement of their job role to run reports - current access is in line with the permission in HCL Notes
  3. Click on this link to access the report
The first page of the report is called Course Report and this is where the most reporting will be done.

By default, all learners on all courses in Campus will show in this report (in progress, withdrawn, completed or on a break in learning) - you will see a Total Count in the top right corner of the number of records being shown but you will need to apply filters to get the data you want.

The Component Report Page provides more detail on individual components within Campus (e.g. Modules and Units)

It is linked to the Course Report page, so you would first set filters on the Course Report page (such as course code or dates) and then use this page to narrow down the information further
