Set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) on OneFile
Once you have had Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enabled on your user account by a Centre Manager, please follow these steps to set up MFA for the first time.
- Head over to https://login.onefile.co.uk/
- Enter your login details
- Install an authenticator app on your phone - you can use any authenticator app, but you will already have Microsoft authenicator on your phone for your Microsoft account
- Scan the QR code on screen using your Authenticator app and follow the instructions
- If you would prefer to receive a code via email to your work address, click on the Having trouble scanning the QR code link and follow the instructions
- Enter the code from the Authenticator app
- Click Continue

Unable to scan the QR code or don't have a mobile device?
Don't worry! You can send your access code to your email when setting up MFA by clicking on Having trouble scanning the QR code? Once you have done this, you won’t be given the QR code again.
